What is Aad Granth?
Aad Granth is an app to read and listen to Gurbani. It includes the Nitnem Banis (Japji Sahib, So Dar, So Purakh, Sohila), Sukhmani Sahib, and other cherished Banis, with translations, transliteration, and word-by-word meanings (Pad Arth).
Is the app free to use?
Yes. Aad Granth is free to use. It is created with love and devotion to make Gurbani accessible to everyone.
How do I change the font size or theme?
Open Settings within the app. There you can adjust the font size, choose from multiple Gurmukhi fonts, and switch between Light, Sepia, and Dark themes.
How do I show or hide translations and transliteration?
In Settings, you can toggle English and Hindi translations, and choose your preferred transliteration language to read Gurmukhi with ease.
How do I save or bookmark a Shabad?
While reading, tap the bookmark icon on a verse or Shabad. Your saved items appear in the Saved section for quick access later.
Do I need an internet connection?
Reading Gurbani works smoothly on your device. An internet connection is required for the Listen feature (Kirtan and Gurbani videos) and to receive the latest content updates.
I found a mistake in the text or a bug. What should I do?
